For not only is she the wife of the prominent head of a prestigious hospital, but all of those who've previously had affairs with this sensual succubus seem to have expired prematurely. Ono had blackmailed a large amount of diamonds in China during wartime, and Dr. Jeong wanted to bring Ono, who was the only person who knew where the diamonds were, back to life. However, his method of restoring life, which was putting the soul of a man near death into the body of the dead man, made a double-faced man, who had separated body and soul. And Dr. Jeong was killed by the double-faced man he made.

He has heard that Mr. Marc is seeking a profitable investment and was advised by a friend of Mr. Marc's to see this latter. The gentleman offers other credentials, but the mention of the friend's name is enough for the unwary Marc, and he refuses to put the gentleman to such an inconvenience. At length it is arranged, and Marc informs the gentleman that if he will call at his office at 2 o'clock they will close the deal. Mr. Marc wears a beard, and on his way downtown he suddenly resolves to shave.
